My throat hurts and I think I am sick. Tomorrow I have to give a speech in my required public speaking class. It’s a terrifying enough ordeal as it is and I’m sure it will be even better with a sore throat and stuffy nose.

Sounds like a bonus! Nobody will be able to tell if you sound nervous or flub on a word, because you’ll just sound sick, and it’s not like you can get graded down for congestion.
